Change Communications | Lunch & Learn Webinar | Thursday 22nd February

“If change is a constant, what are the opportunities for Internal Communications?”

On 22nd February at 12:30pm GMT we’ll be discussing the evolving relationship between organisations, change and internal communications. Join guest speakers Emma Tucker, Head of Internal Communications ACCA, and Jo Harvey, Head of People and Culture Communications LSEG, as they explore the different types of change, the role internal communicators play in helping people make sense of change and the opportunities to provide strategic value to their organisation.

After the presentation, there will be a 20-minute Q&A session, to explore the subject in more detail.

The Panel:

Emma Tucker, Head of Internal Communications, ACCA

Emma is Head of Internal Communications at ACCA, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She has over 15 years of experience in internal communications and believes in building great companies from the inside out.

Emma is experienced in creating internal communication strategies and campaigns that foster employee involvement, support behaviour change, and create and sustain positive working cultures. In her current role, she is focused on helping her team create stories that connect people to ACCA’s strategic aims and to improve communication capabilities across the organisation.

Emma started her internal comms career at BNP Paribas, where she worked on a range of projects for the bank’s UK businesses, including brand engagement, diversity and inclusion campaigns, HR programmes, and regulatory change communications. More recently, Emma worked at the banking software firm Temenos, where she built the internal comms function from scratch, and worked on a company-wide transformation, a new brand rollout, pre and post-M&A communications, Covid-19 communications, and company culture engagement. In addition, Emma introduced a broader range of employee-focused communication channels to the business.

In 2021, Emma completed her MA in Internal Comms Management with the IoIC and Solent University, adding theory to her practical experience.

She is based in Hertfordshire, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and their insatiable cat, Nala.
